Remington AAC-SD 16.5" 223 threads

Is he barrel threaded 5/8-24 or 1/2-28? Remington website only lists the 308 thread pitch. I haven't yet picked it up and am wanting to order my flash suppressor now. Thanks

This. The throat on mine was cut too short but it's being taken care of right now. Was still shooting amazing, but I don't want the excess pressure. Fun little rifle isn't it? No idea why it took me this long to get a 223 bolt gun. It just makes sense for range stuff.

Now, the good thing about the 1/2-28 thread is that you can go up to the 5/8-24 with an adapter, but obviously can't go the other way around. More modular.

Thanks for the replies. It should be fun, I wanted something to throw together as a plinker between the big bore rifles. It should be decent when it is done. And on the adapters, ashih313, you can get them either way quite easily. I am not big on adapters so I wanted to get it right the first time.
