Gunsmithing Remington Barrel Nut

Looking to get a criterion barrel in 300 win mag with the barrel nut. I was wondering what the diameter or dimensions in general of the barrel nut is? I have a smooth savage barrel nut wrench and i was wondering if this would work or what everybody uses?

If you get the barrel nut from Jim @ Northland, it will be a regular grooved barrel nut. It uses the same wrench as the Savages.

Yup just use the savage wrench.
