hey my question is would you just lighten the spring or remove it.i have always loaded one at a time and i never use the magazin even when hunting.what would you guy's suggest.can it give me better accuracy?John

The extractor....the part of the bolt that grabs the shell and removes it from the chamber.

yea 308sako is right the ejector.its been one of those days sorry for that.just woundering if i could get alittle more out of my rifels.have a 300wetherby imp. that a good friend gave me and it has no spring.and he used it for 1000 yard benchrest.but i don't know if he removed it or if the gunsmith that built it.just trying to kill the cat.thanks ,John
