Remington Long Range

Did anybody notice that the new Rem Long Range rifle is available in 30'06?
Comes in the B&C M40 style stock.
Very nice for around 670.00 from buds.

Yup, I've been fighting the urge to buy one. I'd like to have a short barreled '06 to go along with my othr one that I had built. I will end up with a 18 inch '06 just for shits and grins!

I'm on the fence.

'06, properly loaded, is all I'd need to get the most at the distances I have available around here.

Only problem is I don't handload these days...
