Okay I am new to the rifle world and have been a lurker for a long time. I just bought a LTR in 308 and a Mark 4.

What Harris bi-pod and sling should I order. Also is anything else needed before I go out and start learning to shoot?

Re: Remington LTR

Thanks man you have a good price. I see you have the sling recommended also which was the Tactical Intervention Specialists Quick Cuff. Which attachment method should I choose?

Re: Remington LTR

i would recommend the tab sling..very simple but very effective design...contact lisa at riflesonly.com and she will hook you up in no time at all

Re: Remington LTR

laforumreader you will want talon swivels

They fit the standard sling studs

HK hooks are the heavy duty hooks, commonly used on AI rifles.

Flush cups and the like are for exactly that. Push button release but your stock needs to have the cups installed to use this type of sling.

Re: Remington LTR

You might want to check out the Accu-shot monopod too. I was a bean bag shooter, but changed to the monopod and never look back. It will take some learning getting use to it.

I have seen those, but had never been to their site or done any research. I think I need to pick one of those up and give it a try.
