OK, as the title asks how can one find out what the pressure of this model #4 Receiver is, under it's manufactured spects to be able to withstand.
Because this is made for a .22 short, long , lR, as well as a .25 and a .32 short I'd like to find out what it can handle.
Powder being different today as from the time this was built. But I have seen some guys making centerfire rifles out of these as well.

My hope, wish or wants would be to have a new barrel made (No barrel now, just a receiver) Octagon 22" to shoot the newer .22RF Curx 50.gr.

My far reaching hope would be to make a .22 Creedmoor with a 26" Octagon Barrel.
But again, I need to learn how this receiver will or can handle such possibilities.

Thanks As always....Yes I'm always thinking and looking outside the box.
