Remington's Mike Walker...?

I just got an email from a friend in the "business" saying that he had heard that Mike Walker had passed away. The last I heard from him a few years ago he was living in or near Black Mountain, NC. Can anyone find any information on this? Thanks in advance. Victor

I have seen on a couple of other forums that he passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 101.

He was a great mind. He forgot MORE about rifles, bullets, ammo and shooting than most anyone here will ever know. I will prize the times he would sit and talk with me at matches.

Rest easy Mike. You've earned it.
