I want to remove the Cerakote finish from my barreled action.
Would 70 grit aluminum oxide be ok for this?
I will be refinishing with DuraBake in a different color.
Thanks
Bob

Yeah I read that 100 - 120 was ideal I just cant find it locally , except in 5 gal for $110.00.
I only am doing 1 rifle and don't need that much.
Thanks for the reply.

It will take it off and take it off quick! You will get good adhesion with the new coating but it may have a rougher surface finish b/c of the 70 grit.
