For budget minded builds, the Renegade and Bravo come to mind at under $400 each.

Between the two, which one would you run, and why? Bravo with its drop in and go or a Renegade plus DBM and bedding?

I loved the ergos of the Bravo but had a few issues with it.

The safety on the Trigger Tech Diamond hit and wouldn't engage and the plastic mag catch/release is pretty janky.

I'd prefer a Gaybo Renegade with a metal dbm and adjustable cheek piece.

I like both of them but think I will probably go with the bravo for any future purchases... But both are solid options at good price points.

I had this same dilemma for a long action. The Bravo is quite a bit more in long action though. I went with a grayboe. *Coming soon*

Adjustable cheek riser would be nice. Anyone running a barricade stop system on the bravo? I was leaning towards a renegade with area 419 arcalock rail. I ll have to call around and see how the arcalock fits the bravo.

Bravo hands down. It offers much more and can be upgraded. It would be a tougher choice had you said Ridgeback Vs. Bravo, but the Bravo is still a better value IMHO.

I own both and I prefer the grayboe renegade with DBM to the bravo. Bravo saves a little weight, but the renegade is designed better. I've had issues seating mags into the magwell of the bravo. never seen such an issue with grayboe.
