The mag release button on my well used Baretta Elite has come loose. It appears that it had been pinned in place as there is a tool mark on the back of the button. Like it was struck with a punch. Does anyone have an idea how I could repair this? I thought about using Devcon...

Re: Repair of mag release on Beretta Elite

Could you be a little more descriptive, loose as in falling out? or still functional but moving around?

only ten bucks cheaper. And VERY nice! Put one in my 92 and love it.

IF that would solve your problem, I'm still not entirely sure what your problem is? maybe the two sections with the spring in between came out?

Re: Repair of mag release on Beretta Elite

The knurled piece in the midway pic is what came loose. Thanks for the links, pdogsbeware. I did not know that was available. Worst case, I can pick that up and just replace the entire release.

How hard is the install?

Re: Repair of mag release on Beretta Elite

It's one of those things...simple to figure out, harder to get your fingers to actually do it without the spring flying apart. Still, not very difficult. A one beer job.
