Replacement screws

I bought a used remington .270. It has the iron sights on it as well. I took them off, and need to fill the screw holes. What replacement screws are normally used for this? I imagine I'm not the first guy to need this, but can't think of what to use. Thanks for the help, Josh

I use the screws that come out of the receiver. The ones you have to remove to mount your scope base. If you don't have them shoot me a PM with your address and I'll send you some.

Brownells sells 6x48 plug screws that will work.
