Replacement stock for Rem. VTR

Thinking about getting a Bell and Carlson Medalist Varminter stock for my VTR. Would like the pro's and con's.

should take up some of the recoil

Excellent stock if that is what you are looking for. I use to have one in a 700 sa and it was great. Lik above it took out a little recoil because of the weight.

B&C Light tactical is my choice. Better all-around stock IMHO, and a little less expensive to boot...
