I am replacing the .308 20" LW barrel on my AI with a 26" Bartlien .260 barrel. I have all the tools to do it and I know it's not rocket science per say but has anyone had any issues regarding headspace etc once the barrel has been put on or was it as simple as spinning the barrel to the proper torque, confirm headspace with go and no gauge and away you go. I have one other question maybe someone can help me with. I am getting a vise from Brownells and there are several different bushings avail. May sound like a stupid question but is there a std bushing that would work for most std contours or would you need a particular bushing for each barrel. I am not sure exactly what contour the 20" LW barrel is but it is a heavier contour than Bartlien which I believe is a Med Palma contour. I checked LW's website and couldn't find any info regarding the barrel contour and nothing listed on AI's site either Any input appreciated.
