I live in Safford. There are none close to where I live. I'm thinking in the Tucson area; Phoenix maybe, but only as a last resort.

For what sort of work? There are a lot of excellent smiths in AZ, but many of them specialize or at least have their strong and weak points.

Some simple things like bedding the action(too afraid to do it myself), along with threading and crowning the muzzle.

If you are near Tucson contact Patrick Holihan. He built a scout rifle for me that shoots sub minute and has assembled several rifles for the Safari Club International.
