Rescue with a helmet camera on.

Re: Rescue with a helmet camera on.

Job well done by first due EC. AMR medic advises Captain of possible victim trapped in rear of structure upon arrival. EC goes into S&R and rescues victim, great job. AMR crew should have had equipment and cot at ready rather than going after it and making two or three trips to the ride.

Training!

Thanks for the video share. Stay safe.

Re: Rescue with a helmet camera on.

Good video and a great grab but I'm wondering if it's SOP for these guys to do mouth to mouth. The American Heart Association recently changed the CPR protocols to compressions only for the lay rescuer in order to encourage more people to wanna help out.

Now I'm aware that firemen have a higher level of training but mouth to mouth? With all the communicable diseases out there I'm really surprised to see a trained rescuer doing mouth to mouth rescue breathing.

Aside from that, great job getting that guy out.
