Resting Rifle in the Rack

One of the ranges I go changes targets every half hour. During that time they require that all rifles be placed in their racks. The barrel contact point is about mid way the length of my barrel. My concern is, can placing the rifle in the stand with a warm to touch barrel, cause any damage the barrel?

My rifle is no light weight, it comes in at just over 19lbs without ammo or magazine.

I didn't think it would but figured a run up the flag pole and see what other thought. The barrel is rather substantial considering it only has a little over .250" taper to it and the 1st 5" is 1.250". It shoots nice tidy little groups. Thanks for the input.
