Congratulations to all the 300 plus score shooters this month. Calm with light drizzle nearly all day but it looks like it didn't hurt the scores any. Saw some new faces and hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

Thought my son was finally gonna hit a 300 with his 260 XP-100 pistol but blanked the 630 yard target which he usually cleans. ( Came back after match and put a group on it with all 3 nearly touching dead center, go figure
) Maybe next month. I still haven't had a good match day with the new scope but maybe I should switch match and practice days around and might get back to decent scores again. Only claim to fame this month for me was going for the 20 pointers at 900 (2" x 4" rectangle) and 1000 (8" circle) and actually hitting one at each stage. Amazing I miss those big ones then hit the 2 hardest ones there. Guess lady luck was trying to make me feel better after another dismal match score.
We got to watch some fantastic shooting and some great scores. Plan next month to join in, very challenging match with a great group of shooters to spend the day with.
