A buddy of mine just finished building this for me. Was too nice not to post. Wanted to show it to give others ideas of making their own. All steel so it weighs a LOT. Def not moving i don’t care how stiff your turrets are lol.

Used an old 0moa steel tikka CTR rail I had laying around. The stand is countersunk and held with 2 big bolts.

Just bought some 3/4" diameter 65A duraometer 3/8" high adhesive rubber feet for the bottoms to keep a single point of contact on a bench and also give it good grip so it doesn't move. Also bought a 60mm bullseye level for it so I can check scope reticle cant as well and perfect it with a plumb line while it's in it's rings/mount. Kind of gives the tool 2 uses that way.

    Few more pictures of it.

Sweet setup! I recently made my own as well . I found a EGW base that was uncut and 1/2” tall on brownels and used carriage bolts for leveling. All in I spent right around $100.

Have you looked through an AMG? I did not like the reticle on paper, but I actually didn't mind it as much as I thought in actual use. If you haven't seen one in person I'd encourage you to do so. The reticle is not for everyone, but it's not as bad in actual use IMO.

Very nice general! I like the big screw drives for leveling the base, does your friend have any interest in making more of these?

Is it just me that thinks it is odd that all the optics seem to be off almost the same exact amount.
