Is Winter ever going to give up? Initially forecast was supposed to be in the mid to high 40's and 3 - 5 mph wind. Saturday had sun but the wind must of not seen the forecast. It would shift from 2 mil left to 2 mil right in between shots. Some shooters lucked out and got a lull in the action but others just sent bullets downrange for trigger practice. Don't let the lower than usual scores fool you, it was tough and everyone earned every target they hit this weekend.

Not any real high scores but a few did pretty darn well considering and a Good Job to them. Most of the shooters shot on Saturday since they changed the forecast to cold, windy and a possible dumping of snow on Sunday so we only had about 25 or so on Saturday. Was only sixty entries total with some shooting both days.

I tried my new 6XC LR pistol and even though score was down I think it'll be an improvement, heck nearly beat my pathetic rifle score shot on Saturday.

As usual, the food was great at the Club House and many thanks to Tom, Carolyn and all the help they had putting on the match this weekend. Hopefully.... someone up above pay attention...... we are ready for warm calm weather and hopefully we'll get it for the Sniper Match coming up in two weeks and the April LR match at the end of April.

Was nice seeing a couple new shooters,
Alex Macdonald brought his friend Tyler James down and it's thefirst time he's shot past 100 yards and used a M1A in 308 with metallic sights. Was great watching his first try that at these small targets and getting some hits.

Congratulation to Randy for his win with his new gun.
