Hi

I shot a 338 rifle with a S&B 5-25x56 scope with the P4F reticle yesterday. There are many things I liked with this reticle. One of them being the fact that when you zoom down, the reticle offers more mil markings for holdover. It doesnt have the thick post below the center, like the mildot, Leupolds TMR and every other reticle I have seen, all of them have the same amount of mil holdover at maximum power and minimum power. The P4 and P4F dont, but are there other reticles out there that have the same feature? USO maybe? The new reticle from Hensoldt?

Sounds like you are describing the normal behavior of a front focal plane reticle.

As to similar reticles to the P4F, the new NH1 from Hensoldt or the GAP mil reticle from USO are probably the closest.
