First off, this is a great site with tons info. Now to the question. I am trying to get my 300wm past a mile. Does anyone use retumbo? If so can you give me any results and a starting load. Any help would be great.

I have used Retumbo in my 300WM with heavies. I start @ about 75gr with 220-225's. I found it was more temp sensitive than H-1000, so I just stick with H-1000 now.

thanks bigwheels, I forgot some info. I am mostly shooting 190 and 208 bullets out of a 24" barrel.

In that case I would use H-1000, not Retumbo.
