So first off, I'm not an English major...

Everyone's favorite site owner sent me a gift in the mail. He saw I was looking for a scope for my 10/22 and told me he had just what I needed, and it was an Acme Machine 6-24x50 FFP MOA scope. It comes in at a good price point for a budget build at $360 at this time.

I received the scope with a bunch of SH goodies from Frank.

The Scope was packaged in a very nice box with a magnetic closure, with high quality foam to pad it from drops. Also included was a microfiber cloth and Allen key to reset the turrets. The included flip up scope covers seem to be of equal quality of what Burris sent with my XTRII.

The turrets and magnification ring have a machined crenulations that give a great grip even with sweaty hands. The turrets have a little mushiness, but feel much better than anticipated. given the choice I'd have the clicks be a little more solid but I don't foresee any issues dialing in a hurry. The parallax is very smooth and the markings so far are pretty close to being on the mark.

The scope appears to be anodized and the coating is very even and all the markings are bright white and easy to read.

The reticle is fine lined Christmas tree style, but its thick enough I haven't lost it on darker backgrounds as of yet. It has illumination with off positions between every brightness level.

The glass is surprisingly clear for the price on 6-12x, above gets a slight fog a and somewhat tight eye box, but its still useable. I used a optical chart tacked to a fence about 35 yards away and could see the down to the third smallest number 6 clearly, after that it got a bit burred together.

Sorry couldn't get better pictures, I took 30-40 to get these.

The image in the scope looks much better than what these pictures show. I shouldn't have any trouble seeing any target.

I'm going to mount this thing ASAP and see how it does at the range.
