I am new to the long range shooting scene and would like to meet anyone who has experience with this sport. I am looking to go to matches and learn as much as possible about this sport. I dont have a rifle and scope at this time. Those would be other topics I would like to discuss. So if there are others in the Richmond/Northern VA area who are into long range shooting give me a holler and lets go shooting.

I'm in Richmond. Not new to shooting in general, but new to long range shooting. I'm kind of in the same boat as you, but I do have a rifle. They have a 500 yard range up at Cavalier, as well as some different matches every month.
