Looking for advice on a bag/mat. I have an AI AWM 300wm folding stock. Im looking at one of the Eagle molle bags that open into a shooting mat. I want to stay with Eagle as Ive been using their vest and gear for the last 2.5yrs and trust it. Their quality and customer service in my opinion is top notch. (keeping options open though).
Eagle's MOLLE Style LE Hybrid Sniper Rifle Carrier 44 (the short one).
I want to use as small bag as practical to fit my rifle with the butt folded. I already have a hard case for long term storage, but want something to take to the range/into the feild.
It looks like the rifle will fit in the bag length wise (about 40" folded). But will it fit in there and still close with that added width/thickness of the butt folded?
Does anyone have any experience with this set up? Alternatives?
