I just picked up a new lower to use on my 450 bushmaster and 6.5 Grendel because I want to use a lower more configured to hunt with. I'm thinking of using a seekins procomp or PRS stock for this lower but noticed they both require rifle buffer tubes. Will my current gas system on the two uppers work fine with the rifle buffer tube/spring/buffer? The 450 bushmaster is a carbine length tube and the 6.5 grendel has a plus 2 gas system. I just want to make sure everything functions properly and the rifle tube doesn't affect anything like the POI of the rifles since everything is already sighted in. If it's too much trouble I may just stick with the regular buffer tube and find a different stock I like. Thoughts?

It shouldn't matter much if you go to a full rifle buffer and rifle tube setup but the rifle buffer is heavier so it might need a little more gas.

And by the way the rifle length/carbine length in gas systems is about matching gas system length to barrel length, it just happened that they went to the collapsible stock at the same time they went to the 14 3/8" carbine barrel (when making the M4 carbine).
