Before everyone gets all pissy here, I’ve got an off the wall request and can’t find the info that I’m looking for. When I was a kid I had a Stevens single shot break open target pistol that had rifle sights on it, and that little bitch shot lights out. Fast forward several years and I decide I want a set of rifle sights on a pistol and low and behold, no info anywhere. A friend of mine who was a machinist made a set for a Ruger mk 1 target and I can shoot it like you can’t beleive, but the pistol is unobtainable, I’m sure someone else has done it, but I can’t find any info on it. I’m not looking for a bunch of why, it’s pointless responses, but some positive direction about where and who might be able to make a set of sights for either a Glock 17L, or a Colt woodsman match target, or even a browning buckmark. Like I said I realize it’s not practical, but I want to do it anyhow, I appreciate the help in advance.

I know exactly what your saying. Generally pistol sights are much coarser and cover what your trying to aim at. Not a big deal for shooting a person, but not great for shooting a squirrel at 25 yards. Not sure what pistol your looking to change sights on, but a fine fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear for target shooting work best for me.

Possibly, or maybe my comment was sarcasm upon the sarcastic comment you made, I meant no disrespect, just being a smart ass because I knew someone was gonna do it anyhow, I was pretty sure you were kidding.

Ha Ha sorry man I had to do it only because of the time lapse from your OP I really do hope you find what you are looking for.

Sights like you found on a Winchester 63, 62a, 61, 67, just a good set of sights with a small bead

you can Macgyver anything ... I did that once several years ago on a s&w 22A . took/modified front sight blade of 22 rifle with a nice small polished Brass Bead . It was SOoooo much better for accuracy over that big shitty factory front sight .
