For a scoped rifle with an actual overall length of 44" would you get the 46" or the 52" soft case? Simple question what may be your experience? Please constructive comments appreciated, the rest type at your own risk. lol

I usually go with a case that is at least 2" longer than the overall length, just for safety measure (my own whacky weirdness! LOL).
The 52" case would be 10" longer than the rifle and would end up feeling sloppy and likely have too much inbalance, even when the rifle is cinched down.
