So it's fine to be a Catholic... and report to Rome.

But having fealty to your nation is destructive and dangerous.

Bullshit. Nationalism matters. It's important. National identities and tribal identities far pre-date turning yourself into a supplicant for a far-away Pope who is taking your money, diddling your children and causing plenty of religious strife (right, Crusaders and Irishmen?)

What is dangerous is subservience to a world/mono government or entity that takes away your free will and your motivation to do what humans do. Strive. What is dangerous is the hijacking of Nationalism under the guise of National Socialism.... or Communism (They both worship the motherland and the fatherland as idols).

But nationalism? Love of country and community and heritage? Nothing wrong with that. If half the $#@@ing migrant beaners and shitbags had not been warped by missionaries or by prophets arguing that things were 'oh so dreamy' in the 9th century... or that Rome is your master... then maybe they would have done something with their own countries. Instead of coming in and fucking up everyone else's... while claiming that they are oppressed and oh so needy. So where were the Mackeral snappers and the Mullah's to help their needs or tell them "Go forth and build and succeed and invent" instead of "Give us your loyalty and sit in a puddle of your own feces then blow yourself up until the afterlife."

Religion has caused more death and misery than any other cause in history. My God is the best God so you need to worship my God. So many wars and subsequent death and suffering could have been avoided by folks just minding their own mother f"ing business. Unfortunately, we're just not wired that way.

No, it is human nature and competition for resources. If you don't believe in God, you could argue that human nature caused the belief in the first place. Everyone seems to have a religion, hence the worship of the government when they told everyone to get the "vaccine" and people literally went crazy on those who chose not to...even though the government said you couldn't get it if you were "vaccinated."

Nothing wrong with being religious, thinking there is a higher power, or organizing with like-minded folks. Religious precepts are, in general, no different from the organizing principles of societies since we came out of the trees to hit each other on the head with clubs. And have done a lot of good to provide roadmaps for civil societies.

And massive damage.

Most of the damage was done by organized religions that are about power, wealth and control, not spirituality or recognizing that the precepts that keep civilized man from bashing each other on the heads with clubs are the same whether done because you think a burning bush suggested them... or because it makes sense that if you want to live in tight knit social orders, bashing each other on the head with clubs (or drive-by's with switched-on-Glock) does not advance the human cause... or your personal security and success.

Meh, I worship physics, chemistry, biology and cosmology. Mostly peaceful folks there... that is until they hijack actual science to create climate 'science' and decide to engineer fake pandemics and Zyklon-B (Though that was a mostly-peaceful pesticide at first.)

As for Popes... Maybe the shaved-headed whiney singer chick was right... Even if she wasn't worthy to eat the peanuts of of Frank Sinatra's stool!

yes,religion has been responsible for more murder than any other force in history thru fomenting wars and attempted,often successful resource grabs and wiping out non agreerers. Christianity being amongst the worst. it has killed more people than Hitler could have dreamed of. Islam got a later start but is working hard to catch up. this does refer to "organized" religion. but is there another kind? it seems that the group joining reflex we have makes being part of a group basic to our nature. the murderous political movements in the 20th century,communism and fascism,really functioned like religions in their followers beliefs and behaviors. even Buddhism with a peaceful philosophy,like original Christianity,is also very complicit mass destruction of lives. Temujin,Tamerlane,steppe conquerors in general seem to be amongst the few mass murders with no Religious underpinnings,just robbery,murder and destruction for their own sakes.
the Jews views and actions need no explanation. the green movement,LGBTQ,most other current political movements also function in a divide and destroy methodology. the response to Covid worked in somewhat the same way. seems to me like some flaw in our nature arising from our evolutionary past requiring group membership to survive has gotten out of control over the last 3K years or so.
the weapons of destruction have gotten too deadly in the last 100 years. outcome tends to look bleak.

Anyone with half a brain stopped paying attention to the Vatican after the scale of their involvement with sexual abuse in the community came to light a couple decades ago. The activist popes that invent new sins and parrot the globalist agenda certainly hasn't won anyone over. The only people that care anymore are actually retarded; I doubt the Mormons would even take them.

Yes.....it's called not being a scum bag. Treat people well. Don't steal murder rape or fuck your buddy's wife....without permission 😉 Raise your children to know right and wrong. Help your community.....be it charity or building things for the greater good. I don't mean to offend anyone at all but I don't think I need a book to tell me to just be a good human. If that's not good enough when whatever judgement day comes my way.....then I guess I'll suffer the consequences.

I now believe that all man made religions are a festering boil on humanity.... "religion" or "god's" should be nothing more than a moral and ethical compass that you use to treat others like a human being, how to live your life with respect and dignity and be a decent human being. Anything man made is corrupt and open to abuse..

Many terrible things have been done in the name of religion. However, it is inaccurate to say that religion has caused more death than any other cause in history. In fact, the opposite is likely true. Totalitarian regimes who were avowedly and militaristically atheist are responsible for the single deadliest century in human history. Depending on which methodology you adhere to, Stalin was responsible for 20 million - 60 million deaths, Mao was responsible for over 70 million deaths, Pol Pot was a mere piker with only 3 million deaths. I could continue the tabulation of the seemingly endless mass killing propagated by atheistic/secular regimes. It totals bout 250,000,000 in the 20th century alone. This total is a huge multiple of the total of "religiously" motivated killings for the previous 2,000 years.

I was raised Catholic. Fuck this pope and all others who have furthered the corruption of the church (which I suspect has been getting worse and worse, way before the pedderass protecting, but they all should hanged for that).

I feel God out in the wilderness, or when I pet a good dog, rarely around other people.
