Tried mounting a SS 16X (in Badger Standard Height Rings) on my DPMS LR-308. The ocular lacks about a "c" hair clearing the extra height Pict rail on the DPMS. Obviously don't want to force it. Also at that height and mounting position (fore and aft)it's going to be impossible to operate the charging handle.
Anyone know if the Badger riser will offer enough clearance or should I just go with Badger High Rings and go ahead an pop for the Magpul PRS to handle the extra height?
I plan on going with the Badger Tactical Latch to cure the charging handle access problem.
