Rimfire across course match ?

Re: Rimfire across course match ?

I've only ever heard of it being used for NRA High-Power shooters. It's at 200, 300, and 600 yards (IIRC) in the three positions: offhand, sitting, and prone. Beyond that I haven't the foggiest clue about it. And especially not for rimfire; this is the first time I've ever heard of it referred to as a rimfire match. Does a range near you offer this match?

The Closest I can think of is the CNGB Postal matches with M16s & sub cal devices fired at 50ft. on the AQC targets designed to simulate the combat course of fire at 100 (standing) 200 (setting Rapid Fire), 300 (prone Rapid fire) and 400 Slow fire prone. 50 shots total, 10 each at stages 1-3 and 20 for stage 4.

The Appleseed boys shoot pretty much the same thing for their Appleseed shoots.
