Quick, yet possibly stupid questions.

1) Anybody with Warne Rimfire Ring experience?

2) Would there be an advantage of getting the Warne Quick release over say the normal "bolt down" 722LM over say the 722.

These look like pretty high quality rings (never have Warne); so I'm looking at something since I don't want to have to drill the receiver and it has "rimfire" dovetails (3/8").

Are you sure they are 3/8" dovetails?
If it is a 11mm dovetail, look at rings for air rifles. Many of them will fit your rifle without having to put a 11mm dovetail to picatiny adaptor on.

Burris Signature rimfire rings come with both 11 mm and 3/8” mounts. If you get a set that isn’t crooked they have a pretty good system of holding the scope with their posilock inserts. Personally I would get a picatinny rail adapter for the 572 remington but that starts getting pricey for both rings and a rail.

Weak link even with a Picatinny is that dovetail which looks mighty fragile.

I'm not familiar enough with the 572 to know if it is drilled/tapped but (Just reread that it isn't drilled tapped but) personally I would also look at DIP for a pic rail either way.
Several of the offerings from DIP have set screws to hold the picatinny in place. Search the term "3/8" and you can see them.

I ordered the Warne 722LM High Mount. Should clear the front sight which would be fun on soda cans at the dump; but not so much at the range. Ahhh, I miss the days of going to the Weyerhaeuser clear cut where people had dumped their cans and lining them up...the only "positive' thing about litter.

Have them on a Mossberg 146... work great for my application. Have a US optics TS-12 mounted up.

I'm hoping these work. Sadly, I had even thought about buying a new Speedmaster and then COVID happened and they all disappeared and will likely never be made again due to the Remington debacle. Sad, as both the Speedmaster and Fieldmaster are icons of the "plinking" generation and still a hoot to shoot to this day. I guess my next choice would be a Browning. Yeah, I know I could do a Ruger semi-auto....but I'm not a Ruger person. Actually, though not a semi-auto, those T1X's look pretty nice for < 500 bucks!

The Hawke scope should be coming in tomorrow from @camerlandny. Doug turned on the money-magnet again.

Happy to say my friend has taken to shooting like a duck takes to water. LOVES it!!! She'd never shot or held a gun before 3 weeks ago, and now cannot wait to go again...and again...and again. Hell, I think she likes it more than I do. Was "scared" of them until I gave her the safety brief and quiz her on it A LOT. Questions like "where is the absolute "end all be all" safety on a gun?" Answer: Between your ears!!!! Still working on trigger finger; but she'll get there as she really wants to learn. So refreshing.

Ever thought about the Nylon 66? I love mine. Just reworked a friend's Fieldmaster for Christmas. Cool gun, he's had it since we were kids. Now it's " new" again

Yes, I've toyed with that as well. I remember as a kid I wanted one so bad; but it never came. They've shot through the roof in price.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Sean at Warne. Great customer service!!!! I was a little concerned that the 1" rings "snapped" onto the barrel of the scope. Quick email describing they were 0.05" off and he confirmed they snapped on and would not be an issue for the scope. Good quality parts, and FANTASTIC customer support. If their bipods are this good, I may buy one (but that's it...I'll have to diet well after that).
