How do I determine this? I know what ring height I'm comfortable with on an AR15. Is the height the same? If not, what's the difference?

These 2 links should get you the information you are after. Once you plug in the variables you have, you can use the results to get your rings. Just note that you should investigate each manufacturers information and verify for yourself specific heights. One companies low rings for example, may be higher or lower than the next company.

For what it's worth, I put a Murphy's Precision 25 moa rail on my 455 PT in the manner's stock. I'm running a SWFA SS 3-15x42 scope with Aadland scope caps. I was able to use Seekins low rings. I was intending on running a stock pack on my stock, but with the manners stock my ideal cheek weld worked out without a stock pack. I opted to keep the scope as close to the barrel as I could, so no stock pack. I just couldn't bring myself to raise the scope a needless 1/2" or more to run a stock pack.

If this is the stock you are looking at - http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/Produ...y-barrel-channel-stock-wblack-textured-paint;
notice the area where your cheek rests is nearly in line with the barrel channel. This is very similar to the manner's stock I'm running. Depending on the rail you use, meaning flat ( 0 moa) or 20 MOA (or more), the diameter of the objective of your scope, and whether or not you plan on running scope caps, I'd venture to say you'll end up with low or medium height rings - depending on brand of rings.

Ideally, you want to lay your cheek onto the stock and your eye is in the ideal position to view through the scope.
