Rifle Scopes ring height calculation question

First post.

I just got a Remington 700PSS .300 Win Mag. I intend to use Badger or similar 20MOA one-piece base and a scope with a 30mm tube and 42mm objective.

What height rings do I need?

Lows are most likely the correct answer in this situation, but you really ought to make your own measurements and determine the optimum height ring for your scope/rifle. See here:
