Rifle Scopes Ring height -- different perspective

I received a set of nightforce ultralight rings on trade. I want to offer them for sale, but I don't know the actual height. How do you determine/measure what the height is on a set of rings?

Most people measure from the top of the rail to the centerline of the scope. I believe this is what NF uses, as well.
