Ring Height for Vortex Razor HD Gen 3?

Looking for some advice on ring heights.

Scope will be a Vortex Razor HD Gen 3.
Rings will be Vortex Precision Matched
Currently have a Savage with bull barrel but next gun will likely be Impact 737R or Lone Peak Fuzion and either full bull or something like a Proof competition profile.

Would you guys do 1.1" or 1.26" rings?

Seems like the current thinking is that the optic doesn't have to be very close to the barrel and it's good to be able to keep your head more vertical behind the optic so I would think the 1.26.
