ring height on xlr

quick question on ring height for xlr chassis. say i have a weaver base+50mm diameter scope, using the equation from xlr web, i get 1.2-base, well i'm not sure the height of the base. anyone know the height for weaver base?
i'm looking at XTR ring not sure which height i need. my guess is the med one(.5") for a 50mm scope.

that seems wayyyy off... I run a nightforce 56mm.... and i ended up with 1.42 m10 rings

yea i notice i think i didn't convert the base height from mm to inch. 2.2(50mm lens+leeway)/2+.9-1.348(dia of rem700 action)/2 turn out to be around 1.32" i'm not sure the typical weaver rail base height, so using 1913 picatinny rail height 2*.367mm. i get around 1.3" of ring height. which mean a xlr High ring will suffice.

Your weaver base will have a height of .29" so assuming your numbers are correct you will need rings 1.03" or taller measured from the top of the scope base to ring center-line. I would error on the taller side.
