I have a Tikka T3 with EGW 20MOA base, i will be running a Vortex PST 30mm tube 50mm bell. The idea is to keep the scope as low as possible on the rifle correct? So would most low rings fit this setup since the EGW rail would make the scope sit a little higher anyway? Also any suggestions on good affordable rings? Thanks

Are the Savage heavy target and Tikka T3 the same diameter actions? If so your link to that post would be his answer. If you don't know, then its as good as any other wild ass guess.
If you would measure your PST's objective,then he could work out for real if it will work with his setup by following the directions folks have offered here:
