Hey fellas, I purchased a nightforce atacr from a member here on snipers hide. I’m trying to figure out what type of rings or mount I should purchase for the 34mm tube of the atacr. There is tons of information on scopes out there but mounting systems are a little more hit or miss. I don’t want anything cheap but I also don’t need a $250 mount setup. Anyone have suggestions on something that would be solid and reliable in the $100 range or less?

You have a $4000 rifle and $2500 scope. Use a good mount and you won't regret it. I don't know of any that are under $100 (maybe someone else does though). Also, watch the PX as mounts pop up all the time.

I hate to tell ya but on a SCAR you really do need a high dollar mount setup. That's a gigantic piece of steel slamming back and forth in there and it WILL work pretty much everything loose over time and flat out break stuff that's not up to snuff. Most stuff will survive a normal rifle because the recoil only goes in one direction. On a SCAR, it goes backwards then immediately turns around and slams forwards.

Thanks for the input yall. I guess I’ll pony up a little more cash for a better mount. The wife is going to kill me if this scar project gets much more expensive
