Rifle Scopes Ring question...

I recently purchased an Athlon scope to put on my Tikka T3 hunting rifle and am going to swap out the rings from my older scope. I have 2 questions.

1. For those with a Tikka T3 (standard barrel, 20 MOA rail) what ring height would you recommend for a 50mm objective? I was thinking a mid may clear it but I'm not sure.

2. There are TONS of rings out there & I know there is a huge difference in quality across the scale. With that said what ring would you recommend for a hunting rifle?

There’s a sticky about ring height up top. I’ve used it and it’s pretty exact. I like the vortex rings. I think there matched rings are seekins.
