Wanting to get some rings for a new rifle im having built. The rifle will have a surgeon rsr action with the surgeon rsr rail (20moa), barrel is a Lilja tactical contour.
Will be mounting a NF NXS 5.5-22 x56 Obj.
Dont have the rifle to measure yet and wont have for a few months, scope should be arriving tomorrow. Im wanting to use either Seekins or nightforce rings (preferably seekins). Scope will have butler caps or NF bikini cover.
Once the scope arrives i should be able to calculate the rough ring height needed myself, however since i will be buying from Aus, i dont want to stuff this up. I Want the scope to be as low as i can go with all the above taken into account.
So can anyone suggest what rings i should get or give me the dimension of the RSR 20moa rail so i can do the numbers myself more precisely.
Tried searching but can only find info for rifles with sendero contour barrels.
If you have a similar build, what height rings did you use?
