I have a 25 moa base on my .22 trainer, and I'd like a little more. Does anyone make rings in slightly different heights to give a few more moa?

Probably not a good idea - if the rings are different heights, your scope will be angled, but the ring bores will be square. You would run the risk of bending the tube or leaving marks on the tube, because the rings would only contact at the edges.
Suggest looking into Burris signature rings with the offset inserts, if you want to try this.

The Burris rings only seem to be available in 1" (need 30mm). I was thinking of honing the rings.

Burris makes 30mm rings with the offset inserts.
If you are using a weaver or picatinny base, look for "30mm signature zee."
They are on the Burris website and Midway has them. I haven't looked anywhere else. I bought some from Midway for my 10/22.

I use a set of 30mm Burris Signature Zee rings on my Remington 700 to correct for misaligned mount holes. The 30mm model of the rings come with standard inserts and inserts that allow for up to 20 minutes of angle.
