RL-17 loads?

I found a lb of RL-17 and am looking for some loads for .308 and .223. Anyone have some?

RL17 is a bit slow for .223/.308 Its similar to 4350 in burn rate, which is slower than the powders optimal for the .223/.308. You could use it, but because of the slower burn rate (than Varget/Rl15/4895/4064/n140) you will run out of room in the case before you can reach peak efficiency and velocity. The 4350's do real well with the larger cases based on the 57mm Mauser case or the 30/06 case. Does real well with 6xc too.

unless you are running 208gr amax's in the 308 then it is about perfect.

I run it in a .223. 3000fps with 75gr BTHP and very consistent.
