Looking for Min/Max load charges for RL-22 in a 22-250AI for 75gr A-Max's. I can't find any info on it now but I have read other places people are using it for the heavies. It would be nice if I can get it to work since I use the same powder in my 300WM.

Thanks

My only recollection is for the 80 amax being 42.5 re22 from 22-250 AI. That should put your max around 44.5 with the 75 amax. As always, start low and work up.

Funny thing I'm doing the same thing with my buddies loads/rifles. I'm running his 300wm with re-19 so I'm working into a load for the 22-250/75amax with the same powder just for simplicity.

Sorry I never updated this for you until now. I did find a nice load for his rifle. I started at 36.5 re-19 and loaded up 40.0 in .5 increments. I loaded 2 of each and did 2 ladder tests at 200 yards, figuring 2 would help to show shooter error. They both looked identical after I was done. At 38.5 the pressure started to show on target as the rounds threw up and left considerably (3.5" left and 1.5" up) from the main group. By 40, the bolt was sticky. Between 37 and 37.5 was the best area on both ladders (they stacked together in almost then same hole at 200) so I made the load 37.3 and sent them off with my buddy. I didn't have time to chrono them until he came back. Well they chrono'ed at 3155 fps at just shy of 40 degrees. I can't imagine how fast the ones loaded at 40.0 were going and I may load one more up and check it just for fun when he gets back.

Did you get anywhere with the re-22?
