RL12 Questions

Hello, guys I got one pound of RL12 that I picked up before they quit manufacturing it. I originally picked it up for reloading 150-165gr 308Win. loads. It's a known bugholer with it. Anyway, has anyone got any experience with this powder and what took it's place??? For being such a great powder why was it discontinued? I wonder what playing around with loading the 6.5 Lapua would be like with this? The burn rate should be somewhere right below N135.....

Found it!! Burn rate is around the rate of N133 and H335. If that helps.

A lot of chat on various forums conclude Reloader 12 is the same powder as Norma 202.

If all that information is correct, and knowing the history of lighter 150GR. bullets with RL12, I bet a benchrest shooter might love to try this with a 155 Scenar load! Sounds like a rare, accurate combo!
