I recently received a tomahawk from RMJ. I ran into and issue and those guys really look out for their customers. If you are looking for a piece of cold steel, look no further. Great construction and awesome customer service. This is replacing my kabar. There is no second place with this tool.

Thanks. I just needed a place to get the word out on an awesome company.

Do you carry a knife? This is a knife plus a tool. From splitting wood to small tasks a knife can handle. The original frontiersmen almost used them exclusively. It's a great tool. Love it.

Re: RMJ Tactical

I have a Shrike and like it. RMJ is a great company. It make for makes a good hiking/camping tool. It is not great at chopping wood but it makes up for it in kick ass factor.

Even if it does not have a "point", it is still a great toy for grown ups.

Re: RMJ Tactical

Bottom line, it's a tool that some people choose to have in their "tool box". If it doesn't work for you, great. Don't buy one.

RMJ is a great company and makes an excellent product.

Re: RMJ Tactical

The hatchet I refered to in my previous post is a Gransfors Wildlife Hatchet and is better than a shrike for that purpose. But..... It was not on Modern Marvels...

Re: RMJ Tactical

Modern marvels aside, the point is not the necessity. Is it necessary to have eberlstock packs, AI rifles, etc.

The entire point of this post was to be boastful of this company and more specifically their customer service. I have a craftsman hatchet that sits near the axe and is probably just as nice as gransfors. not sure but it is sharp but it's place is next to axe not on pack.
