ROGUE SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAM EXITS AFGHANISTAN
The rogue group of retired vets and contractors exited Afghanistan in the early morning hours of Thursday September 23rd with the aid of a French special forces unit stationed in Mali.
The rogue group of men who had caused multiple headaches for the Taliban , and the Biden administration as they came to the rescue of U.S. citizens left behind by the Biden administration to fend for themselves against Taliban hunting teams, who mercilessly went door to door killing anyone with any involvement to the U.S. troops prior to their overnight withdrawal of Afghanistan, made a hasty exit Thursday after a firefight broke out, and several hundred Taliban fighters surrounded their position just outside kabul.
The special operations team left the United States on the eve of August 31st with 11 men intent on rescuing the nephew of a sitting U.S senator, And once their mission was complete, stayed after witnessing the death squads of Taliban fighters murdering U.S. and Afghan citizens. And seeing just how many U.S. citizens had been abandoned by the Biden administration.
In the first few days the team had lost 2 men in combat and 1 seriously injured , but continued to press on to save as many people as they could , and get them to safe houses inside Pakistan. The 8 remaining men continued to attack multiple Taliban outposts and patrols during the day , and extracting U.S. and Afghan citizens by night.
In the early morning hours of Tuesday September 21st their success came to an abrupt end as the Taliban learned their position and closed in on them , surrounding the men and attacking them. The team leader used a secure satellite link to call for help from French special forces, but help was more then 24 hours away, leaving the men to fight for their lives until help could arrive.
The rogue operations team successfully held their position against insurmountable odds for a period of 36 hours, but not before losing 3 more team members to the Taliban fighters and injuring the remaining 5.
French special forces arrived early Thursday morning to find the men closely together protecting their lost teammates and each other ,and almost out of ammunition. The French team of 28 men quickly moved to evacuate the rogue operations team by using a smoke and mirrors tactic along with cover fire from 2 black hawk helicopters. All 8 men were evacuated to a safe zone inside Pakistan where the 5 wounded and battered men were immediately treated and the 3 lost men were properly prepared for travel.
A French special forces commander reported to the associated press Thursday that although wounded the U.S. special operations team members that made it , were wounded, tired and battered ,but otherwise in stable condition and all 5 remaining men were expected to make full recoveries. He was quoted as saying " These men are some of the greatest warriors i have ever had the pleasure to meet, they should all be proud of what they accomplished, and I am proud to have been able to help them make it home to tell their stories of victory in the face of defeat."
The French commander reported about 200 Taliban fighters within 1500 yards of the men when they passed overhead to their position, and every man there was prepared to fight to the end. Some of the men were down to handguns and hand held weapons, and had made their peace with God and each other moments before we arrived. The first words the U.S. team leader spoke to me was " we will carry our own off this field , just (expletive) cover us."
The rogue operations team has now been credited with saving 72 U.S. citizens, the nephew of a U.S. senator and roughly 200 Afghan citizens. They are expected to arrive in France sometime early Friday morning September 24th and begin their journey back to the United States.

Not turning up any articles by a Michael Wellington that works for Fox News at all. Combined with the grammar errors, seems fabricated to me. And not to say we don't have boys over there doing great things, but I think it's unlikely that a small team would be attacking Taliban positions in the daytime.

Yeah, daylight ops...that's more the realm of an overwhelming force with full satellite, air (maybe heavy naval) support and maybe previous tomahawk assistance not a squad sized element with no support.
I call BS.
But it sure sounds grand.

There's a hint of truth to it because some SOF vets did go in to AFG recently during a mission dubbed "The Pineapple Express". However, I wave the bullshit flag when their QRF was called in over sat phone to a French SF group based in Mali and show up in Blackhawks just in the nick of time. I mean Mali is 4,500 miles away in Africa, they sure as shit didn't fly all the way there in the Blackhawks, which France doesn't operate anyway.

I heard a similar story two weeks ago. U S citizens left behind. A “ team” was being assembled to go in and get the Americans. Haven’t heard nor did I ask anymore. 😳

Fan fiction to poison the well.

nice Fudd gun porn.

I actually read the article . Apparently the Team was assembled by Ghecko45 . Consisting of a rag tag bunch of Concrete Union , Velcro sneaker wearing , 275 benching , Special Forces ROTC Operatives . As told they Phoenix Eye Punched their way across the border with Fuckmanistan . From there they aquired several of Akmed's flying caperts and proceeded to their LZ . After successfully Halo jumping into the Snackbar Province they disguised themselves as goats . Unfortunately and unbenounced to them it was Goat Week and they were mercilessly ass raped for the entirety of the week . They somehow managed to call QRF to save " their asses " . In the mayhem Buddly was lost and is now a sex slave in Mecca Lecca Hi Mecca Hinee Hole .
On a positive note , Buddly won the cherished Tightest Goat Award at Goat Week . The award is accompanied by a coupon book for the Aloha Snackbar given to his owner Mustafah Bin Fappin .

From seeing all the hardware we left behind, seems unlikely any unsupported group could last 36hrs in a known location.

I call bull shit on your story Budley wasn't involved because if he was he could have wiped the Taliban out completely with his Remington 783 and Quigley Ford scope mounted on it.

Guess this was the "other" team of guys running Operation Pickle Jar. Google it....but it might have been taken down already.

After screwing the French on the sub deal, doubt they’d lend us some TP let alone bail americans out of a fire fight!

You know the Discovery channell should jump on this ! It could make a interesting alternative to shark week !

Throwin the flag, sounds too perfect, too Hollywood-ish to be true. But, in the outside chance that some sliver of it is true and even one Tali bit-the-dust.👍

I have seen this popping up on a couple of other sites, but they are all coming up dead ends.

As suspected, it was probably made up by someone looking to get attention.

There was a lot of crazy private/backdoor ops going on, so at least parts of it could have been plausible. But there were parts of it that didn't see to pass the smell test.

Thanks!

Before anyone gets too carried away, the private ops that made news had no 'foreign' boots on the ground .most never left continentall US

''Crazy private/ backdoor ops ''were => raising money , chartering flights, running a call center and coordinating with local contacts and the miltary ,not running boots on the ground ,''behind enemy lines'' !!!. That is the part that is not explicitly mentioned, people that do not look past the surface are left to run their imagination and too many get the wrong ideas how things went down.

I love this forum, literally the only thing I could find fact checking this ridiculous tail. This thing has been going bonkers all over my social media from guys who should absolutely know better lmao. Michael Wellington is a completely made up name, and the “page” that created the story is literally a fake made up person named FoxMiami8 or something. Straight up Russian misinformation

I can't wait until the movie comes out, I think its called Act of Velcro

I posted this here (as well as some other locations with connections to special ops) to try and get some honest feedback on the potential situation.

If this was true situation (though I doubted that it was) then it meant that there were US personnel who were killed or severely wounded. That meant that there would be families out there who would be in need of support. If there were families in need of support, then I was going to do my best to support them directly and share the word so others could help them.

There are a lot of US personnel who go into harms way on their own for numerous reasons, and when the $#!@ hit the fans, there is little to no recognition of what is going on. In some instances that can be good thing because openly disclosing what is taking place could cause more harm than good. In some instances it means the families of those individuals are completely left in the dark with no support or help outside of their immediate circle.

If there are people out there who are willing to do whatever they can in the name of Patriotism, Democracy, Freedom, and Humanity, then I am all for supporting them however I can.

It would be great if many others were willing to do the same!

Not really sure what all that has to do with taking 30 seconds to check a story out this is akin to falling out of a chair difficulty task....it's maybe 1 step further than CNN goes in their headline stories, but it's doable. In the future if you will take a moment to google fu say the author or google the first sentence of the article.....you can find out if it's BS.

So where'd you get this text you cut and paste? The web page source might shed some light on accuracy moving forward if it's a place you frequently spend time.

On 6 August 2011, a U.S. CH-47D Chinook military helicopter operating with the call sign Extortion 17 (spoken “one-seven”) was shot down while transporting an Immediate Reaction Force attempting to reinforce a Joint Special Operations Command unit of the 75th Ranger Regiment in the Tangi Valley in Maidan Wardak province, southwest of Kabul, Afghanistan. The resulting crash killed all 38 people on board – 25 US Navy SEALs, one pilot and two crewmen of the United States Army Reserve, one pilot and one crewman of the United States Army National Guard, seven members of the Afghan National Security Forces, and one Afghan interpreter, as well as a U.S. military working dog.

Somma you asshats might actually like this :)

Well, I guess you can follow the link anyway.
Here's the trailer...

If true. Good stuff

But I’m skeptical, this reads like a movie.

Also typically a elites offspring would be the first out, they only leave behind normal Americans.

No. Certain US Military units will use working dogs in combat operations.
No, a dog was killed, so I was wondering if it had been confirmed that the ATF shot down the helicopter. I assume 30 US service members and 8 Afghans is a small price to pay, to get a dog…
