Finally took the plunge after years of 500 dollar rifles (no offense I love savages and Ruger Americans ) and bought a nicer rifle. I picked up a bergara hmr pro in 6.5 pcr and 200 rounds of Hornady 147 eld. I purchased a vortex strike eagle 5-25 with mrad turrets. I enjoy 600 yards and would love to stretch it out. I have access to 1 mile area for about 3 months out of the year. I don’t Intend to shoot anywhere near that far on a regular basis, but would love to eventually try. I told you all that to ask you this, does anyone have any experience with a quality scope base and ring combination for my new rig. Any advise would be appreciated.

MDT scope rails and rings are excellent quality and well priced.
Not sure what Bergara rail spec is (unique or "Remington" like?) so may be issue as not listed as option with MDT.
The MDT Premier rings secure scopes very well and when combined with a MDT rail give excellent return-to-zero if you ever remove scope from rifle.

Anything over 50 bucks each will be fine.

My default is the Leupold 15/20moa picatinny rail base and arcm10 rings.
But the 50-80 buck night force, leupold, stiener rings are all well machined. Just not shit lots of extra material.
