Does the RRS plate for the AT chassis work for the earlier AICS chassis? If not what is out there for it?

The RRS plate for the AT will not work in a legacy AICS chassis. Get the HRD Gear rail with the Anshutz adapter it will mount seamlessly to an AICS

Actually, I'm not sure if you can leave your spigot on- see my photo- I don't know if there's room for the spigot and the rail at the end of the forend. If that's important to you, I'd ask HRD. I sold my spigot, so I can't check it.

Matt Yore at Sawtooth Rifles also makes a nice rail for the AI systems.
I went with HRD because Sawtooth's rail lengths are 5.8" or 12.25" and I wanted a 9" rail that covered whole flat part of the forend without extending forward of the forend.
