RRS tripod selection

Hello all,

I’m going to be purchasing a RRS set up, I’m trying to decide between the TVC-33 and the TVC-34L. I’m 6’4” tall so the extra height of the -34L is appealing but the -33 with a 58” maximum height will work when I add the ballhead and rifle. The -34L would provide additional flexibility on uneven terrain but I wonder if it would be as stable as the -33. Any body have experience with both models?

Just go with the 34L that way you have the opportunity to use a spotting scope/ binos/ LRF while standing. Its an a tad bit shorter when folded as well
