RRS vyce vs hog saddle

I finally got a tripod.
What one is better the really right stuff vyce or Hog saddle.
This will be for rifles that I will not modify for a clamp.

If you're using a stock that has more of a rounded forend, I would definitely go with the RRS vyce. I've used both and they're both solid choices. What are you using for a tripod and mount? If it's in your budget, I would get the RRS ball mount to go along with the vyce. That would be the most solid option. The hog saddle is great, but often you are limited by the mount that connects it to the tripod. They can be pretty flimsy.

I have a HOG Saddle. It has never let me down. I would avoid the PIG Saddle, too flexy. The HOG Saddle guys are Veterans and very cool if that matters.

I'm using a gitzo 3530ls with a leveling plate.
I mite upgrade to the RRS leveling plate later.
